Rheumatologist – Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology

Adam W. Bagley, M.D., earned his medical degree in 2010 from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His training included inpatient and outpatient care at the University of Colorado, Denver Health, and the Denver VA Medical Center, as well as specialized work at National Jewish Health focusing on lung-related rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Bagley has been recognized for his humanistic approach to patient care in both internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and an active member of the Florida Society of Rheumatology and the Florida Medical Association. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Before joining the Arthritis & Osteoporosis Treatment Center, Dr. Bagley spent eight years in a major Jacksonville hospital system, where he served as infusion center medical director, sat on the board of directors, and helped implement a new electronic medical record for the rheumatology department.

In 2025, Dr. Bagley took over leadership of the Arthritis & Osteoporosis Treatment Center, a long-standing private rheumatology practice in Jacksonville. He is excited to guide the practice into its next chapter—expanding services, advancing patient care, and preserving the personalized, community-focused approach that has defined AOTC for decades.

Outside of work, Dr. Bagley enjoys fishing with his sons, volunteering as a youth sports coach, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Hear From Adam W. Bagley, M.D. F.A.C.R.

“Given that the majority of rheumatologic conditions are chronic, I feel that a strong patient and physician partnership is important to improve overall health and wellness for my patients. My goal is to assist each patient in understanding their disease and treatment options and together develop an individualized care plan to meet their specific needs. Effective communication with patients, their families, and all healthcare providers is essential. I aim to be both approachable and professional while providing the best possible care.”
